Abstract
1951 Refugee Convention. EU Temporary Protection Directive. Refugee Protection. Displaced Persons
Danish Special Act on Temporary Protection for Displaced Persons from Ukraine. On 16 March 2022, The Danish Parliament passed a Special Act on Displaced Persons from Ukraine. The Act provides for residence permits to applicants outside of otherwise applicable provisions relating to asylum and aliens law. Legal status under the Act carries with it a catalogue of rights normally no associated with migration or asylum status. The compliance with ECHR Article 14 is investigated.
