Abstract

In this chapter, the stability and robustness improvements of current-controlled voltage source converters (VSCs) are addressed. The dynamic impacts of control loops, including the inner current loop, the phase-locked loop, and the outer DC-link voltage control loop, on the stability robustness of VSCs are systematically discussed.
