Abstract

This paper summarizes the results obtained from performing a semistructured
search to identify the number of Disaster Risk Management (DRM) master level
programs (MPs) offered in the western European and Scandinavian countries. The purpose of this activity is to map the external environment in which the EU Erasmus project Knowledge for Resilient Society (K-FORCE) future MP in DRM will be operating as well as to evaluate what program organization and curriculum content the new program preferrably should incorporate.
