Abstract

The invention comprises a collection of methods and algorithms to efficiently manage the radio resources and the topology in a multi-RAT network. These include the definition of: (1) the initial actions after “power on” the devices; (2) the master selection algorithm; (3) the clustering algorithm; (4) the CH selection algorithm; and (5) the network discovery and link state update
protocol.
