Yariv Taran, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Innovation and Organization at the Aal¬borg University Business School, Denmark. He received a BSc in Management and Sociology from the Open University of Israel, and an MSc in Econom¬ics and Business Administration from Aal¬borg University, from where he also received his PhD in Business Model Innovation. His research focuses on the management of risk and uncertainty in business model innovation processes. Other areas of research interests include decision-making, knowledge manage¬ment, entrepreneurship and regional systems of innovation. He has published his research in a number of international journals includ¬ing Decision Sciences, International Journal of Operations & Produc¬tion Management, International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Manage¬ment, Journal of Green Engineering, Journal of Business Models, and European Journal of Innovation Management.

Dr. Harry Boer is a Professor of Strategy and Organization at the Center for Industrial Pro-duction at Aalborg University, Denmark, and an honorary professor of Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary. He holds a BSc in applied mathematics and an MSc and PhD both in management engineering, all from Twente University, the Netherlands. He has published on subjects such as organization theory, flex¬ible automation, manufacturing strategy, and continuous improvement/innovation in the International Journal of Operations & Produc¬tion Management, the Journal of Production Innovation Management, Decision Sciences, the Journal of Manufacturing Technology Man¬agement, Creativity and Innovation Manage¬ment, Production Planning & Control, and the international Journal of Technology Manage¬ment. His research interest is in continuous innovation, the effective interaction between day-to-day operations, incremental change, and radical innovation. He is a managing editor of Creativity and Innovation Management.

Christian Nielsen, PhD, is Professor of Business Models and Performance Reporting at Aalborg University in Denmark. He currently serves as Head of the Aalborg University Business School. He is also the founding Editor of the Journal of Business Models as well as Editorial Board member of Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal and the Journal of Behavioural Economics and Social Science. Since initiating the establishment of the Business Design Lab in 2011, over 300 companies ranging from local start-ups and SMEs to multinationals with a global presence have seen the value of collaborating with Christian and his research team. The contributions of the research have led to published works in leading international scholarly journals. This reflects the broad international research network of Christian which spans Europe, the US, Australia and Asia.
