Abstract

This paper proposes to explore the topic of ‘Food and Space’ from an interdisciplinary perspective linking the notions of place (from Architecture), materials (from Design/Art) and technologies (from Media) with the domain of Food and its social practices. It is grounded in the use of already existing conceptual, theoretical models like the ‘Foodscape’, ‘Heterotopias’ and ‘Non-Places’.
