In this report, the widely used term ‘embodied carbon’ is applied. It is considered to be synonymous with ‘embodied GHG emissions’ herein. The data and values presented in the following consider both CO2 and non-CO2 GHG emissions, the reference unit applied is kilogram CO2e (equivalent) expressed per m2, per capita, or m2 and year, respectively.
