Abstract

The invention concerns a method of reviewing steps within a task which is performed manually by a person. The invention is centered around pressure sensitive sensors which are attached on the worker's arm by making use of a finger ring, a wrist band or a glove that gather data about the perceived movement of the muscles inside the worker's arm. The signals are processed to detect certain hand gestures at the beginning and at the end of the task. The signals are further used to trigger certain data collection processes which are directly related to the task performed by the worker. The signals concern 1) the estimative determination of the force exerted by the worker using their hands and 2) the correct execution of step performed between the start and the end triggers.
