Abstract
All flow systems are subject to transport delays, which are governed by the flow rates in the system. When the flow rates themselves are control inputs, the system becomes subject to input-dependent state delays, which poses significant theoretical problems. In an earlier paper, we proposed a guaranteed stable control design for a system of this type; in this paper, we provide experimental evidence of the usefulness of the design.
