Description
The universal welfare state has a primary aim of fostering equality of status among democratic citizens. This way of describing the universal welfare state has come under presure and is in need of theoretical support. This project explores Axel Honneths theory of recognition, and neorepublican theories of non-domination in relation to welfare state developments.
