Universities drive participation in Horizon Europe research

According to recent data, Danish higher education and research institutions make up 65% of the Danish participants in the Horizon Europe programme. Danish participants are involved with over 10% of the total projects funded by the programme. Aalborg University Professor of Human Centered Science and Digital Technology David Budtz Pedersen called the significant Danish participation in the projects as a sign that Danish universities are doing it right, are open for international collaboration, and support EU participation. AAU Professors Frede Blaabjerg and Jesper de Claville Christiansen also noted the importance and success of Horizon Europe.
