Alisson is a graduated Mechanical Engineer from Universidade Federal de São João Del-Rei, Brazil (2013-2017) with a comprehensive academic background spanning from a master’s degree and subsequently a PhD from Universidade Federal de Itajubá, Brazil (2018-2023). Throughout his career, he developed a strong specialization in Energy Conversion Systems, leveraging skills in thermodynamics.

His research interests encompass Sustainable Energy and Engineering, focusing on Bioenergy, Renewable Generation, Carbon Capture and Utilization, and Hydrogen Energy. Alisson possesses extensive expertise in conducting rigorous analyses, including Life Cycle Assessment, Exergy Analysis, Thermoeconomics, Techno-Economic Analysis, and System Optimization, enabling him to evaluate and enhance the efficiency, sustainability, and economic viability of energy systems.

In addition to his academic achievements, Alisson has practical experience collaborating with industry partners and research institutions to apply innovative solutions to real-world challenges in energy and environmental sustainability. He is committed to advancing knowledge and technology in the field of thermal sciences to contribute towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.

Particularly motivated to contribute to Sustainable Development Goals 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and 13 (Climate Action) through his research and professional endeavors.
