The War on Terror: Media, Archaeology, Social Memory

In my Ph.d. thesis I am concerned with the relationship between war, media and social memory. My focus is on the Danish TV-mediation of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. I am primarily interested in applying a media-archaeological approach, where I look at the technological and organizational aspects of mediation and the role they play in the framing of war and the constitution of social memory.
