Abstract
To know the definition of a problem in is an important implication for the possibility to identify and formulate the problem1, the starting point of the learning process in the Aalborg Model2 3. For certification it has been suggested that: A problem grows out of students’ wondering within different disciplines and professional environments4.
This article goes through the definitions of a problem formulated by researchers at Aalborg University during the lifetime of the university5 and raises the question to each of them: Leads the definition to creation of a feeling or experience – a wondering - that something is different from what is expected, something novel and unexpected or inexplicable; astonishment mingled with perplexity or bewildered curiosity?
