Description

The workshop "Blockchain Technology to Address Social and Environmental Issues" was organised by AAU and invited early career researchers located in Denmark and specifically working with blockchain from a social and env science perspective (instead of strictly cryptography or engineering). The workshop featured presentations by Daniel Ortiz Gonzalo (KU), Simon Bager (KU), Susanne Köhler (AAU), Kim Peiter Jørgensen (ITU), Lorenzo Gentile(ITU), and Sergey Tsiulin (AAU) and included discussion rounds on the challenges and potential future directions in this line of research. The workshop was organised as part of the DFF-funded Sustainable Blockchain Technologies project.
