C-MUS Reading seminar marking the 20 year anniversary of Stephen Grahams and Simon Marvins classic Splintering Urbanism.

Deading:
chapter 5: "The City as a Sociotechnical Process" (p. 178-214) which is the main theoretical chapter. For those eager to read more, we would also direct the attention to the exciting Postscript (p. 404-420) which holds some kind of a 20 year old research agenda. From this, we could discuss if the authors hit the nail or where the reality of today deviates from their ideas back in 2001.

Professor Ole B. Jensen has been so kind to kick start our reading seminar with an introduction to the book and the material above in order to initiate a good discussion around the themes of splintering urbanism.
