The Telecyclette project, funded by the Velux Stiftung Foundation, aims to combat physical isolation and emotional impoverishment in the elderly through virtual reality cycling. The project is being carried out in cooperation with the Multisensory Experience Lab of Aalborg University in Denmark. PhD Emil Høeg, co-director of the Telecyclette project, and professor Stefania Serafin, co-director of Aalborg University's Multisensory Experience Lab, are developing immersive software and studying virtual interaction during the telecycle bike experience.
