Abstract
The work package aims at providing an understanding of the role of demand - private as well as public - in stimulating and enhancing knowledge-intensive entrepreneurship and the interdependencies of both.
The role of big societal challenges (e.g. environmental, health, energy, digital divide) in stimulating innovative knowledge-intensive initiatives should also examined in the different deliverables included in the WP.
In the case of this particular deliverable, a theoretical framework focusing on the links between demand and public innovative procurement and knowledge intensive entrepreneurship and innovation will be developed.
The overall results, lessons and policy implications of this WP will be integrated and used as an input for the implementation of work package 4.1.
