    Abstract

Artaud is one of the most impressive artists and theorists of the contemporary theatre. His utopia was so extreme that he was believed to be insane. Many times his prose was misunderstood and his ideas refuted. Nevertheless, his utopia remains the brightest way of the Avangard Theatre, his words are so simple and attractive that is impossible to ignore him. The theatre he is dreaming of is a theatre of actors, of bodies and precise knowledge of breath and flesh. His utopia is in each research-theatre of this century.
