In August 2023, the ADD project, The Academy of Technial Sciences Denmark (ATV) and University of Southern Denmark's Digital Democracy Center (DDC) brought together more than 60 leading experts on democracy and tech for the symposium 'Future of Tech & Democracy'. The purpose of the event was to discuss how artificial intelligence, blockchain, biometri, quantum computing and other digital technologies are affecting the future of democracy and vice versa. The vision of the lab was, among other things to kickstart a conversation about the future democracy in a digitalised world drawing on research expertise, policy knowledge, and international perspectives.
