Description

This symposium is an invited speaker seminar, which aims at exchanging ideas and new concept around the “art of science advice to public authorities”, and to review how to guide the reflection and how to facilitate the dialogue between policy makers and research organizations. Indeed, there is a need for innovative tools to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and policymaking in order to go beyond the national ecosystems picture reported for Denmark and France, and to see how the system may evolved in the light of recent EU and international -science for policy- actions, from networking to drafting incentives. The foreseen output of this seminar is to discuss innovative methods to support policymaking and to define joint areas of work at the European scale.
