Associate professor at the Centre for Youth Research at Aalborg University Anne Mette W. Nielsen doubts the positive effects of culture passports. The culture passports have been proposed by the ministry of culture as a way of giving challenged young people positive cultural experiences, but Ms Nielsen does not believe that this will make a significant difference based on similar schemes in other countries.
