  • 25+ years research experience in Thermal/Fluids Sci. & Eng. Research expertise includes: (1) Advanced CFD; (2) Clean & efficient biomass/coal-fired heat & power generation; (3) Oxy-fuel combustion; (4) Smart clay calcination; (5) Icing on wind turbines in cold regions; (6) Biomass pyrolysis & gasification; (7) Cooling of electronics; etc.
  • ca. 50 peer-reviewed articles published in prestigious journals in WoS SCI with total impact points over 250: (i) Sole/first author of >50% of them and Corresponding author of most of them, of which I feel pround; (ii) H-index = 22 in WoS Science Citation Index (=27 in Google Scholar; =24 in Scopus). In addition, 70+ other peer-reviewed papers published in ordinary journals, conference proceedings and books.



  • 20+ years teaching experience in Thermal/Fluids Sci. & Eng., teaching almost all the core courses in this area at all different levels (for batchelor, master and PhD students): (1) Winner of "Teacher of the Year" for a few times in Aalborg University, on the M- and/or E-Study Board as well as on the Faculty level; (2) Nominee for quite some other times.
  • Supervising PhDs & Opponent of PhD defense in quite some different countries; Supervising many Master projects.
