Abstract
Given that the Libyan economy is a single-income rentier economy, this study looks at focusing on the elements of the spatial development of the regions in Libya by highlighting the extent of the availability of natural resources available in those regions, to come out with a general conception of a spatial development plan that may help the Libyan economy gets out of the circle The rentier economy to a diversified economy of economic importance domestic and internationally.
The study is based on the descriptive and analytical approach reacheding several important results, the most significant of which is that Libya has basis for a comprehensive spatial development, industrial, extractive, agricultural and tourism based on the availability of some natural resources, terrain and weather suitable for the establishment of some different economic activities, depend on advantage of the abundance of these resources.
