Beskrivelse

The booster vaccine against Covid-19 developed by Bavarian is to be tested on 3,000 volunteers from Denmark, Belgium, and the USA. The first Danes will be given the vaccine on Thursday at Aalborg University Hospital. Senior physician at the Department of Infectious Diseases at Aalborg University Hospital, Henrik Nielsen, who is the national coordinator for the trial, has high expectations for the vaccine. "We believe that this new vaccine can fulfill these wishes, partly because it has been developed with a different technology than the vaccines used today," he says. Researchers expect to have the data they need this summer. (Summary provided by Infomedia) Sources: Tek Deeps, 25-10-2022
