Fremtidens Intelligente Energi-og Ressourcesystemer

The EU project Intelligent Energy and Resource Systems of the Future (FUTURE) is
an integral part of Rikke Marie Moalems PhD research and has been a significant element in the framing of the context and motivation of this PhD thesis. Furthermore, key learning from FUTURE contributed to the empirical foundation of the phd research. Further, it provided waste companies with the opportunity to experiment and test new practices promoting CE through waste prevention and preparing waste for reuse. On this basis, the project aimed to contribute new knowledge to this implementation gap by investigating what happens in the meeting between CE and the current practices based on the waste hierarchy.
