Temporal and Spatial Changes of the Antibody Responses of SARS-CoV-2 Variants and Identification of the Targets for Broad Antibody and Vaccine Development

Projektdetaljer

Beskrivelse

In this work, we are going to develop the next generation SARS-CoV-2 variants proteome peptide microarrays that enable the proteome-wide detection of thousands of humoral IgM,IgG and IgA antibodies simultaneously in the serum or plasma of people with vaccination or infection at the amino acid resolution. We will execute the large-scale detection of serological antibodies in people with vaccination and SARS-CoV-2 infection in different countries, revealing the temporal and spatial changes of humoral immunity responses in different regions. The results will be valuable to understand the relationship between SARS-CoV-2 variant infection and humoral immunity, identify the biomarkers for COVID-19 detection as well as the epitope for broad neutralizing antibody and vaccine development.
