Abstract

In today’s healthcare, while quality improvements (QI) are prioritised and digitalisation gains attention, there is little exploration of digital advancements in visual management tools for QI. Consequently, it remains unclear how healthcare workers benefit from using digital or analogue visualisation tools. In this survey-based study, we aim to explore this gap. Seventy-six respondents representing more than 15 different healthcare units across Denmark and Wales completed the survey. Our findings reveal a nearly equal split between the use of digital and analogue visualisation tools. With preference for analogue tools for introduction and team cohesion and digital for data heavy and geographically diverse team applications.
