tsbi3: Computer program for thermal simulation of buildings. USER'S GUIDE (Version B08)

tsbi3 is a user-friendly and flexible computer program, which provides support to the design team in the analysis of the indoor climate and the energy performance of buildings. It has been developed primarily to simulate commercial and public buildings. By creation of a detailed mathematical description of the physical spaces, structures, occupancy, and systems it is possible to simulate even very complex buildings with advanced heating and air conditioning systems as well as certain passive or active hybrid solar systems. tsbi3 offers a very flexible conbination of the systems and the scheduled control strategies over time and is capable of simulating the dynamic interaction between the building structure and the systems. The User's Guide gives a thorough introduction to the use of the program and its capabilities, and describes the basic mathematical models used in the building simulations.
