The individual producer of fish and seafood cannot obtain sustainable transformation alone. If we aim for significant and impactful changes for our water and sea environment, the transformation within aquaculture must encompass a much broader scope and understanding of aquaculture as part of the whole food consumption system. And the development should be supported by both legislation and research, say 30 international researchers.
