Research profile

In my research I contribute to our sociological knowledge base about the perspectives of children and young people in vulnerable positions in the Danish welfare state. I also focus on social work and have a keen interest in understanding the decision-making processes in the child welfare services. I have an ongoing interest developing qualitative methods and I have particularly contributed with key insights in ethnography, longitudinal and narrative approaches, and research ethics. I publish international articles in high ranking journals and to secure out-reach of my research I also publish in Danish language reports and books and seek to disseminated my findings through talks and presentations to professionals and in media commentaries.
