Quanliang is a postdoc in the DECA research group. His research aims to better understand and reveal the human effects on natural environments in the context of climate change, globalization and sustainable development. This is built upon cross-disciplinary academic training in mathematics and environmental science, and research experiences with systems modeling like multi-objective optimization, multi-regional input-output analysis, and statistics analysis.
At this moment, Quanliang is really interested in:
• Strengthening regional and global environmental footprint assessment (eg, water, carbon emission) of local and inter-regional human activities
• Revealing social and economic drivers of the changing water and other environmental systems
• Designing the sustainable development paths for the future
