Abstract

Odense in Denmark during a little more than one year. It offers a psychological perspective on how ‘people’ (the author included) preserve psychological and personal coherence during everyday mobilities, and how this relates to the ability and possibility of dwelling on the move. Such coherence is conceptualised as bodily practices of ‘dwelling’. Empirical examples highlight how passengers dwell on the train in relation to both the physical setting, social interactions, embodied performances and personal aspects cf. the Staging Mobilities analytical framework (Jensen, 2013).
